Unless their career is a paid bodybuilder bodyguards, or personal trainers there is no explanation for people to frequently visit these facilities. Is it because they don’t have no direction or haven’t reach their fulfillments in life? Because if they’re trying to get attention or turn heads, they aint getting that happiness. Are they musclebound morons or what? What are they trying to prove?
Because they are trying to live healthier lives. I don’t go to a gym personally but exercise and strength training are a part of my schedule. I’m doing it to get stonger and live healthier because I’ve made very bad choices in the past.

I have been stunned over the last couple of days at the number of people asking about weights and exercise. They speak as if they are going to a gym, but seem to have no guidance when they are there. I know some gyms in the USA don’t do this, but is this the norm?
A gym SHOULD provide, as part of the membership of the gym, a programme consultation every six weeks as a minimum. A good gym (in my experience) will also provide a fitness assessment to start, plus progress assessments every 6 or 12 weeks. They should show clients how to use all required equipment and how to perform each exercise.
If this isn’t happening, you guys need to start demanding it! People power!
Well some gym do it some don’t. I live in Canada and the gym I go to, you are allowed 3 free sessions with a trainer. You can make an appointment for whenever you want.
It’s not the people who choose but the gym ‘people’. Any gym that do provide fitness trainers will have a business over those who don’t.
Both the trainer and personal training client have memberships in this scenario. The only thing is that the personal trainer does not work for the gym. He’s an independent.
I dont think they like that there. I got kicked out of a gym for training another person in a gym and i was not employed by that gym. I dont think gyms like that in general

I am interested in opening a health club or fitness gym or whatever you prefer to call it, but I was wondering if it is worth the time and effort. I am trying to start my research, but have found nothing so far on how much would be a reasonable amount to pay myself as the owner. Can anyone help me out?
ive worked at a gym before and basically this is how it works.
Usually a department of operations :front desk/cleaning services/ etc
Sales department: Backbone of the health club -bringing in new members
Fitness Trainers: Maintaining members/ educating them
Alright so basically your gonna have to take out a big loan out to get all of the fitness equipment, permits, etc
This is how you make your money:
NEW MEMBERS (intro fee and monthly fee) monthly fee is residual income remember that
+
Trainers sale by the session.
+
Vitamins and supplements = money
Now if your successful you may be able to pay off your loan in a few years and everything else you’ll make is profit including the residual income.
So basically if you have a big capitol meaning a large sum of money to get everything started i think its a great investment.
Its all about location and how well you market your gym.
Now as far as how payroll works…such as how you pay yourself or so…i am not too sure how that works.
Remember you can either strike gold or go bankrupt. email me if you have questions i may be able to help xxsicrokerxx@yahoo.com
