I went on 98 % vegitarian diet for over four weeks. The ONLY unveggie thing I ate was a sprinkle of shreded skim milk cheese on my salads. I gained 10 pounds. I found one thing I did wrong though. I added one whole can of beets, juice drained, on almost every salad, a minimum of five salads a week and sometimes two salads a day. The sodium was over 826 mgs per salad so I understand the sodium water retention. I need to lose weight before I feel like I can be more active tho.

I must admit I’ve never heard of a raw food diet before, (it’s never mentioned in media over here in the UK) but thinking about it, it does actually sound really practical. (also save a fortune on gas and electricity bills ^_^)

@comedianravikissoon unless you use raw rice flour (basmati or a brown) and create a dehydrated flat bread or taco you can’t really call it raw, but as philip said even eating 80 percent raw is a great thing. just be careful how much rice you use. remember to look at the plate and put 20 percent rice and 80 percent veggies, as much green as you can. green drinks also help get the enzymes into your body…as for more protein…try quinoa instead of rice…it makes a whole protein good luck
