The Power of Goals – Anthony Robbins

August 26th, 2010 | by admin |

There are thousands of goal available today. It is even sometimes difficult to pick a set of goals for our life with confidence. But we must have OUR goals to live by. Knowing what we want, when we want them, and the person we want to become, we can decide the goals for our life and the actions we will take – the things we will do. Choosing only goals may not be enough. Because even though you know you want a million, you still need to determine the person you want to become. There are many ways which you can use, many things you can do, to get the million that you want. But you may end up being the person that you do not like. You may become the person that your loved ones can not appreciate. You may become a person who can be proud of. When you know the person you will become in the end – the person whom you like, the person your loved ones will be happy about, and the person who can make the differences in this world, you will know what actions to take and what path to take. …………………………………. It is important to be happy…. It is important to be rich…. It is important to be successful…. It is also important to be fulfilled. But how can you be happy and fulfilled if you do not become the person you can accept and the one which your friend and loved ones appreciate? Choose the actions and you will become the person you want to be. Choose your purposes and make sure you become the person which other people like.

I totally agree with you. But it seems like most of us go to work at a job we hate, deal with things and people that make us unhappy. I for one am lost and I don’t know where I am going. I don’t have any parents to guide me, although I am well past the age of needing them to guide me. So I just go to work and try to hang onto what I have. I want a real change.

I want to radically change my life. I am grateful for having a big house and a nice car, especially since I came from the ghetto and never had anything. My parents died and didn’t have anything to leave me or my siblings. We had to make it on our own. I sometimes feel ungrateful because of having so much but wanting a lot more. I don’t have a career where I feel fulfilled. I feel so empty inside. I want to feel like Mr. Robbins and what he talks about.

I bought his first book. He is an amazing motivator. I would love to go to one of his seminars. I love this man and you are right, he is a gift to the world. I just wish he would have been around when I was a teenager. I would have gotten a lot further in life.
